Most security products are built from threat models on a whiteboard. This one was built from the other side of the gap — from watching how easily account recovery can be turned against someone, and how little stands in the way.

So we built the one thing that was missing: a checkpoint. A pause. A human yes. The thing that changes how the story goes.
